Products
Prosig provide hardware and software for the measurement and analysis of a wide variety of noise and vibration applications. Prosig specialize in solutions for traditional industries such as automotive, aerospace, military, power, civil engineering and manufacturing. Prosig products are also used in research & development, electronics, medicine and education.
Hardware Products
The P8000 is a family of compact, rugged data acquisition systems with industry standard BNC or Lemo connectors. The tough casing makes it ideal for mobile use and units can be stacked to expand the system up to 256 channels.
Software Products
The DATS.toolbox software is available either as part of the P8000 system or for standalone use. DATS.toolbox has a wide range of analysis signal processing algorithms and is available with a number of special add-on packages. DATS.nvh provides all the tools an engineer needs to capture, analyze and store data for refinement studies. Functions are included for rotating machinery investigations (waterfalls, orders etc) and sound quality metrics (loudness, articulation index, roughness etc). A wide range of acoustic and vibration analyses are also included.
DATS.rotate is a world class software package for the analysis of rotating machines of any type. Data can be analyzed in time, angle and order domains. Waterfalls, orders and cyclic phenomena can all be investigated. Tools are also provided for the investigation of shaft twist and torsional vibration.
The DATS.acoustic package is a comprehensive collection of analysis tools for acoustic analysis. It has everything from simple sound level meter measurements to room reverberation and sound quality measurements. A, B, C & D weighting tools are included along with impedance tube measurements and 1/n octave spectra.
DATS.fatigue provides a full set of analysis functions for the fatigue and durability test engineer. The functions can be broadly categorized into cycle counting, material selection and life prediction. Analyses include measured stress range versus cycles to failure curves (S-N curves) and strain life / critical location methods based upon cyclic strain history
System Packages
The Prosig ESP (Easy Signal Processing) system combines the P8004 4-channel data acquisition hardware with full-featured analysis software, all in a single, low cost package.
Runout is the combination of the inherent vibration measurement of a rotating object together with any error caused by the measurement system. The Prosig Rotor Runout system is based on Prosig’s P8000 hardware and the DATS analysis and reporting package.
