Provides direct connections to charge type transducers
Provides a dedicated tacho input for accurate measurement of pulse trains. Typically used to measure rotational speed
The 8405 provides 4 inputs for charge mode transducers. These are normally high temperature accelerometers. Charge mode transducers are normally used in automotive and aerospace applications where heat and low frequency response are important. The 8405 offers an impressive input range of ±68pC to ±68000pC full scale deflection (FSD) with, importantly, a large number of analogue amplifier steps to maintain and maximize signal resolution.
