With subjective choice being a major factor in product purchases, why not listen to the changes made during development and hear the effect of proposed improvements in a “what if?” scenario.

Watch and Listen

The replay software displays various data views with simultaneous audio output for listening. A click on one of the graphs will jump straight to a particular place or a couple of clicks will make the replay loop around a small section.

Playlists

Multiple signals (mono or stereo) are loaded to form a playlist. While listening a simple click will switch between different signals. If the data is speed based and recorded with a tacho signal the software will switch between signals at the same speed. Playlists may be saved for re-use later and recently used data is “remembered” for quick loading.

Apply Filters

Multiple filtering with combinations of order filters and frequency filters allows detailed investigations and “what if?” audio analysis. The playlist may include both the original and the modified signals for direct comparison with each other. All filters have an optional speed profile. This allows varying amounts of filtering or gain to be applied to different parts of the signal according to the speed at that point.

Filter Lists

As with playlists, the software will store lists of filters as named sets so that they can be applied to different signals in the future.

Sound Quality Metrics

During playback the current time and speed are displayed. Additionally, the software optionally displays sound quality metrics such as articulation index, loudness (Zwicker or Stevens), Speech Interference Level and so on.
