The standard DATS package comes with a large selection of tools that help the user automate their test & measurement tasks.

Prosig's DATS software is a world class tool for interactive investigation of noise and vibration. In addition it contains all of the tools necessary to build turnkey test systems that automate the day-to-day tests required for investigation and testing.

There are three main phases to most testing scenarios and DATS can be used to streamline and automate each of them.

Capture

Data acquisition parameters can be set-up and stored so that each test is repeatable and consistent. All information about the test is stored with the data including user specified information about the project or test program. The DATS capture software has been designed with in-vehicle use in mind and most control can be handled by the P8000 remote control connection.

Analyze

DATS contains an extensive collection of analysis functions suitable for almost any noise & vibration testing task. DATS Macros and Scripts make it easy to sequence functions together to customize the processing for the exact needs of the test.

Report

Most tests would be useless without results. The Intaglio report generator is a standard part of DATS. Intaglio combines the word processing and layout capabilities of Microsoft Word with the graphical and presentation power of DATS. Reports are based on drafts (templates with gaps for graphs and results) and can be used time and again with new data.
