End-of-line Testing

End of line, or production line testing, has its own special requirements above and beyond normal R & D testing.

Often those responsible for such testing are not development engineers and need to use the test equipment in a different way. Also, the aims of the test are often more precise and require a simple Pass/Fail.

The DATS software makes it easy to achieve these goals.

Features built into the standard DATS scripting include...

• DATS Forms allow easy design of screens to guide a user through set-up procedures including pictures, video or sound.
• "Hidden" acquisition means that the user doesn't have to worry about knowing the ins-and-outs of the software. They can just be provided with a "GO" button.
• The extensive DATS analysis functions are available and can be sequenced to make the test criteria as simple or as complex as required.
• The DATS graphing ActiveX control provides a simple and fast way to present graphical results during a test if they are required.
• Sophisticated "project" support and the DATS Named Element facility make sure that all information about the test is stored with all of the data. Coupled with the DATS History functions this provides complete traceability with all DATS data.
• The Intaglio report generator included with DATS ensures top quality reports from any test.
